EDUC 560

March 31, 2014 

Integrating technology into education can help spark interest in our classrooms and make students actively engaged in the learning process. From the start of EDUC 560 course, I have already learned important skills I had thought of to be too difficult to acquire. Among these skills is making a well-designed educational poster, which I thought I needed a skilled person to make. Designing such posters is very important in a teacher's career since they can be used for personal goals or classrooms. In addition, I learned how to make a business card which is something I may use in the coming future.  I am anxious to learn more about integrating technology into education during this course in order to implement what I learn, in my own classes and become a more skillful teacher.

Today our TD class attended a  Master's thesis presentation at AUB. The students had presented their studies on posters which caught our attention because we remembered what we had learned in class about designing posters. It really felt comforting to know that we already have a little experience in that field and it will really help in the future.

We are continuing to learn more and more regarding the integration of technology in classrooms. The blogs we have designed are very interesting and allow us to share our thoughts and ideas with others. We have also designed web quests that we can use to give our lessons in new and more structured ways.

This course is beneficial for any teacher who plans on excelling in her job. It also helps to catch up with the technological innovations that are conquering our world.
